This visual offers a comparison of multiple categories in the format of bubbles. There is one bubble per category value, however, if there are multiple values for each category then there will be multiple bubbles of that colour. The size of the bubble is based on the measure. Note that the measure is set to sum by default but can be adjusted.

The purpose of the Bubble Chart is to provide a comparison of categories and each categorical value and dimension attribute in your data set through multiple bubbles. It is ideal for a dataset that would like to compare a larger number of categories (more than may be best practice for a pie or donut chart) and each of their value(s).
